The Finishing Touch
Okay, I have to make a disclaimer here to say I am a mum of two boys, I don’t spend too much time on hair styles except Harlow’s mini man bun in the summer to keep his hair out of his face!
But, with Christmas coming up and having lots of little girls of varying ages to buy for, I thought I would begin to look for a gift that would be practical, stylish and suitable for all their ages.
This year I believe there is also a bit of a movement to cut down on the excess and to buy from local small businesses that are ethically sourced too.
I really wanted to buy them something that they would get a lot of use from, especially with two of them at school age now.
Did you know?
From hair bobbles, to nylon bow hairbands, bow hairbands and turban hairbands you really do not need to look any further for a beautiful gift that any little girl will want to put in their hair straight away, even if they usually put up a fight.
I think for me, it is also clear from the beautiful designs they have also been through about from a practical parent point of view, and Elisha is using her experience as mum of three girls to do just that. Take the hair accessory bag for example, stunning, simple and perfect to keep everything in one place so they are all ready for those busy mornings where you don’t have time to hunt around the house for the elusive hair bobble! I actually need one, and each one can be personalised with your chosen letter.
With a number of beautiful print designs you really can use them to put the finishing touch to any outfit, whether it is getting ready for a day at school, a Christmas disco or a playdate at soft play.
From Dotty in Evergreen by Elvelyckan Design Hair Bobbles (Small / Medium) to Figs in Mint by Elvelyckan Design Turban Headband and Meadow in Dark Blue by Elvelyckan Design Nylon Bow Headband you can find something that would suit any little one and their slightly varying sense of style (Christmas jumper in July with wellies is a personal fav for my son).
With all Rhubarb The Bird hair accessories £5.00 and under they really are the perfect stocking filler, and if you are buying as a gift you know that they will be used again and again rather than the toy that is still in its box at Easter!
Some designs have been so popular they have sold out, so don’t want to long and grab these beautiful accessories while you can!
If you are buying them for your little one, or as a Christmas present we would love to see them being worn so don’t forget to share and tag #RhubarbTheBird on social media!
Did you know these come in adult sizes too?!
